Mustang Cat, the authorized Caterpillar dealer for Southeast Texas, is hiring a Learning & Development Programs Manager to strengthen leadership, elevate capability, and shape the employee experience (EX) across our organization. This role leads our non-technical training portfolio-including leadership development, corporate training, employee development, eLearning, and organizational development (OD) initiatives.

What You'll Do as a Learning & Development Programs Manager


As Mustang Cat's Learning & Development Manager, you will develop, manage, and facilitate enterprise-wide L&D initiatives-driving performance, improving the employee experience (EX), and enhancing customer experience (CX). Key responsibilities include:


Training & Program Leadership



  • Lead the annual L&D strategy and training calendar for essential skills, business skills, corporate training, leadership development, CX/EX, and sales enablement.
  • Own all curriculum development using instructional design, adult learning principles, and blended learning methodologies.
  • Build custom learning solutions in partnership with management and executive leadership.


Leadership Development & Talent Programs



  • Manage Mustang Cat's corporate Leadership Programs (Management Training, Leadership Development, Management Fundamentals).
  • Support Individual Development Plans (IDPs) across the organization.
  • Facilitate high-impact instructor-led training and virtual sessions.


Corporate Training & Employee Development



  • Develop and deliver eLearning, microlearning, and digital content using authoring tools.
  • Support talent development, onboarding, and competency-building for employees at all levels.
  • Facilitate monthly New Employee Orientation to create a strong first impression and onboarding experience.


LMS & Data Insights



  • Partner with the LMS Manager and Communications to maintain content, track results, measure impact, and increase engagement in the Learning Management System (LMS).


Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Human Resources, Organizational Development (OD), Business, Psychology, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in L&D, Talent Development, HR, or Organizational Development
  • Proven success in program development, instructional design, facilitation, and project management
  • Strong LMS skills and experience with eLearning authoring tools
  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills with the ability to simplify complex topics
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, industrial business environment


Preferred Experience



  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Knowledge of Caterpillar (CAT) systems, heavy equipment, dealership operations, or industrial services
