About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Clerk to join our team at a physician-owned, privately held healthcare organization. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely handling of patient records across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities * Scan and file patient records into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system for four locations. * Retrieve, review, and upload faxes into shared drive folders. * Manage all record requests and Release of Information (ROI) requests. * Serve as a primary point of contact for referring physicians. This is a high-volume scanning and data entry position requiring strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Required Qualifications * High school diploma or GED. * Minimum 6 months of work experience in data entry or customer service. * Strong typing skills and ability to navigate multiple systems efficiently. Preferred Qualifications * Experience working in an EMR system (receiving patient records, managing shared folders). * Familiarity with ROI processes and ability to guide patients through them. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
