Keying in data and compiling information for the department. Relies as much on administrative skills as accounting knowledge and understanding of financial concepts. Relies on knowledge of accounting terminology and accounting systems. Principal Activities Drive collection efforts to resolve past due accounts. Provide additional resources for SOX controls. Provide additional support for daily reports, timely controls, downloads, and improve operations processes that generate cash, cash receipts, and working capital. Enter and code financial transactions appropriately. Reconcile invoices received with departmental billings. Issue invoices to customers based on services rendered and/or goods sold. Make and track payments. Track expenses as they relate to specific projects and jobs. Validate invoices against items or services received. Check all financial transactions for accuracy. Key data into the company accounting system. Required Skills & Qualifications High school diploma 1+ years of experience assisting in an accounting department Knowledge of booking practices Experience with accounting systems, typing, and data entry Are you ready to try something new?
