SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES

The incumbent is responsible for leading a team of bankers in the Atlanta Commercial Division with the objective of soundly and profitably growing the client base through both deposit and treasury management and loans.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible for the overall management of banking related activities within the Atlanta Commercial banking division, including profitability, sales and service, all lending activities, credit quality, community leadership, human resource management, and meeting financial and compliance standards.
  • Responsible for the recruiting, hiring and coaching of relationship managers.
  • Responsible for fostering relationships with clients and referral sources as well as supporting the community development and brand-building strategies within the market.
  • Establishes goals and strategies, and assesses performance against set goals to ensure soundness, profitability, and growth of the region.
  • Establishes service policies for all lines of business in his/her division to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Assesses the performance and takes appropriate action to ensure that all goals and standards are met.

Qualifications, Education, and Certification Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years related banking/business lending experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required annual compliance training, New Employee Orientation

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, and reports. This position requires a large amount of time in front of a computer. This can be done sitting or standing with use of the right desk.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is in a private office.

Telecommuting roles no matter if hybrid or 100% full time telecommuting must have a secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions. They must also have a reliable private internet connection that is not supplied by use of cellular data (hot spot). Cable or fiber connections are preferred. Requirements are subject to change, as new systems and technology is delivered.

TRAVEL

Travel may be required to come to meetings as needed.
