Get to Know Your Team:

• BSA Hospital is a 445-bed hospital serving the Amarillo area for over 120 years and continues to be Amarillo's preferred healthcare provider. At BSA, the focus is to provide quality healthcare in Christian love, service and dignity.

• Responsible for safely loading and transporting non-emergent patients using a wheelchair van and lift to various locations.
• Occasionally provides emergency care and transport for sick or injured individuals in accordance with BSA Health System policies, department guidelines, and patient care protocols.
• Operates non-emergency vehicles in compliance with all applicable laws and organizational policies.
• Additionally, assists in moving patients within the hospital using hospital beds, stretchers, wheelchairs, or by walking.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma / GED.

• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

• Texas Driver's License with a good driving record.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Some college classes.
