More about the role

This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a Component Planner in Littlestown, PA, with Signify, the world leader in lighting.

  • Ensure on time delivery of materials according to customer requirements and maintain balanced inventory levels.

  • Procurement of all components attached to the respective Purchasing Group and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) Controller in the corresponding factory.

  • Issue purchase orders for components and control pull in, push out, and confirmation dates. Reconcile supplier invoices.

  • Ensure availability of components needed to complete customer orders in accordance with established lead times and to maintain continuity of production. Implement improvement actions to confirm orders and timely deliveries.

  • Forecast and send the demand to suppliers, receive forecast confirmation, and follow up with suppliers to ensure long term availability.

  • Work with Global Components Teams, Commodity Teams, and strengthen supplier relationships. Prepare and present required reports.

More about you
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, or related

  • Supply chain work experience (internship experience also considered)

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

  • Salary:$60,500 - 88,660 based on experience

  • Bonus:target bonus opportunity - 5%
