As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an educational location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing outstanding customer service. This is a driving post that requires a valid driver's license. You will remain visible, assist students and staff, and communicate clearly while upholding Allied Universal's values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, faculty, students, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within an educational environment.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the campus buildings and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for educational locations.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel and Allied Universal management.
• Assist with access control procedures, including monitoring entry points and verifying identification as required.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including guiding building occupants during drills and actual events.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of patrols, incidents, and daily activities as required by site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
