As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in North Kingstown, RI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with employees and visitors, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly to support a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity and/or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of daily activities and incidents as directed by Allied Universal procedures.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and/or staff while performing security-related duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
