As an Access Control Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor entrances and exits, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the healthcare location.
• Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner while following established access control procedures.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site-specific policies.
• Respond promptly to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to observe for any security-related concerns or unusual activity.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to established procedures.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations and/or lockdowns in accordance with location protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide reassurance to those at the healthcare location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
