Security Officer - Retail Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Driver in Moline, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a major retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff. This driving post allows you to remain visible throughout the property while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft and report suspicious behavior.
• Communicate clearly with store personnel and/or visitors to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance issues according to site protocols.
• Remain alert to changes in the environment and adapt patrol routes or routines as necessary to support the needs of the retail location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
