Job Description




As a Security Professional - Unarmed Commercial Driving Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with tenants and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help protect people and property.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols within the commercial real estate location and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential risks.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences observed during patrols.
  • Collaborate with property management and/or local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns or incidents.
  • Monitor access points and observe for any suspicious behavior or unauthorized entry within the property.
  • Provide visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted activity and offer assistance to tenants, employees, and visitors as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
