As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entrances, manage badge access, and conduct routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain highly visible, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain security-related protocols at the logistics and distribution location.
• Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises, ensuring adherence to site-specific policies and procedures.
• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel by addressing inquiries and offering directions as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and report any unusual observations to Allied Universal management.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and/or policy violations in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Collaborate with site management and/or law enforcement as necessary to address security-related concerns or incidents.
• Maintain a visible presence at access control points to help to deter unauthorized activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
