As a Airport Security Officer - Cargo Patrol in Kahului, HI, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of all passengers, staff, and airport facilities. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with the public, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. Position Type: Part Time - Morning

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Valid Driver's License
• 21+ years of age
• Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
• Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activities encountered during patrols.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
• Collaborate with local authorities and Allied Universal management when incidents occur, following communication protocols.
• Complete accurate and timely written reports and logs related to patrols, incidents, and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
