As a Security Officer - Media Site Unarmed Patrol in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic tech and media environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the location, and act as a reliable resource for visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor for unusual activity or situations that may require additional attention, and report findings promptly.
• Support access control processes by observing entry and exit points and verifying credentials as needed.
• Communicate clearly with clients, visitors, and team members to provide information and assistance as required.
• Document incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and site requirements.
• Remain alert to changes in the environment and adapt to varying conditions within a tech-focused location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
