Summary:
The admissions coordinator is responsible for obtaining the required information to admit residents efficiently and promptly, using established policies and procedures.

Detailed responsibilities:
* Admissions Coordinator

  • Provide residents with admission information packets (e.g., resident rights, a notice of privacy practices, admissions contract, sign-in packets for admissions, uploading insurance cards, etc.).
  • Assist in interviewing residents/guardians/sponsors and obtaining required admission information and signatures.
  • Prepare identification records for residents by established policies and procedures.
  • Maintain an accurate record of available rooms.
  • Admit, transfer, and discharge residents by established policies and procedures.

Essential:
Communication/Interpersonal: *Effective oral and written communication skills appropriate to the audience's needs. Decision Making/Organization Skills: *Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure. *Excellent organizational skills. *Ability to perform work independently with minimal supervision.
Productivity: *Demonstrated time management and priority-setting skills.

Education with Equivalent Qualifications:

Essential:
* High School Diploma / GED

Experience with Equivalent Qualifications:

Essential:

* 6 Months prior work in an organization
