The Area Training Coordinator role is essential in ensuring all operators within the department are progressing through the area's skill blocks. Skill block training is the fundamental process within the Decatur plant where teaching, training, and learning occurs. The Area Training Coordinator is responsible for ensuring training timelines are consistent and training materials are developed and accurate. This role reports to the Area Manager with coordination to the Plant Training Manager. Main Responsibilities * Functions as the coordinator for all operator training within the area. * Serves as the primary contact point and mentor for new hire operators in the area starting from the basic skill block through skill block #2 completion. * Develops and maintains all skill block content for the area with support from other area resources, engineers and leaders. * Develops and maintains all other necessary training materials to document and facilitate skill block training within the area. * Develops and organizes area wide training initiatives including training on area safety * Engage with Plant EHS to stay aligned on safety initiatives and training for the area * Active in all types of training (presentations, textbook, on the job) for the area. * Meet with all new hire area operators who are working on skill block attainment on a regular basis * Assist in the development of documentation for the Primient Operating Model Strategy including process verification sheets, SOPs and job instructions. * Document and schedule routine skill block checkpoints with Area Leadership to ensure progress of new hires and additional feedback for the employee. * Assist in the development of action plans for anyone not achieving the training requirements. * Ensure new hire operators are prepared and ready for skill block qualification. * Collaborate with Area Training Coordinators throughout the plant and across other Primient plants to continuously improve the onboarding and training program. Total RewardsThe annual pay range estimated for this position is $83,840.00 - $104,800.00 and is bonus eligible.Please note that while this range reflects the full spectrum of compensation available for this role, individual compensation will be determined based on several factors including your experience, skills, and alignment with the role's responsibilities.
