Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Employer Brand, will lead the development and execution of White & Case's employer branding strategy to attract, engage, and retain top early-career talent. This role oversees multi-channel campaigns across social media, careers websites, and emerging platforms, as well as relevant paid advertising initiatives. The position works closely with internal recruitment teams around the world to deliver compelling content and experiences that showcase the Firm's culture and values, optimize the candidate journey, and strengthen the talent pipeline. The Senior Manager also monitors industry trends and competitive activity to ensure White & Case remains and grows as an employer of choice in key markets.

The Team

This role sits within the newly formed Integrated Marketing team that oversees firm-wide brand strategy and activation, digital marketing including website and social media, paid advertising and client and talent marketing campaigns. The Integrated Marketing team partners closely with members of the Recruiting, Data & Analytics, Marketing Tech, Communications and Creative Services teams.

The Broader Function

The role resides within the Global Marketing and Business Development function, an integrated team of more than 250 marketers based throughout the Firm's 46 offices across the globe. Marketing and BD consists of several key departments: Business Development, Marketing Technology, Creative Services, Global Events, and Communications. Together, we drive the Firm's strategic growth by delivering innovative marketing solutions, fostering client relationships, and enhancing the Firm's market presence. Our collective objectives are to support the Firm's business goals, promote its global brand, and create a cohesive and compelling narrative that resonates with clients, prospects, and employees alike. Through collaboration, creativity, and strategic insight, marketers at White & Case ensure that we reach and engage our target audiences effectively, elevating the Firm's reputation and contributing to its success.

Led by a new CMO, marketing at White & Case value team members who bring a broad range of experiences and expertise, from both within and outside the legal industry. The team's mission is to make White & Case one of the world's most admired brands.

Responsibilities
  • Brand Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute multi-channel employer branding campaigns primarily targeting early-career talent, ensuring alignment with global brand strategy while addressing regional and local talent priorities. Key channels include social media, careers website pages, and exploration of emerging platforms to reach top talent.
  • Early Careers Recruitment Support: Leverage the employer brand to enhance talent acquisition efforts, building a robust and diverse candidate pipeline.
  • Candidate Experience Optimization: Design and deliver a seamless and differentiated candidate journey across digital, social, and experiential touchpoints, ensuring consistent engagement from first awareness through onboarding.
  • Content & Storytelling: Collaborate with the Content Strategy team to create compelling recruitment content including video, editorial, social storytelling, and other digital assets, that highlights the Firm's culture, values, and career opportunities.
  • Paid Media: Partner with the Paid Media Manager to plan, execute, and optimize precisely targeted advertising campaigns that amplify the Firm's early-career brand and drive candidate engagement in priority markets.
  • Internal & External Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, including recruiting, social media, and creative services, and manage external agencies to produce high-impact employer brand activations and campaigns.
  • Agency & Vendor Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for agencies and vendors, managing contracts and deliverables to ensure high-quality, cost-effective outcomes.
  • Strategic Insights & Innovation: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and best practices in early-career employer branding to maintain and grow White & Case's position as an employer of choice in key markets.
  • Measurement & Reporting: Track and report on the effectiveness of employer branding initiatives, using data to inform strategy and optimize campaign performance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field; Advanced degree (MA, MBA) a plus.
  • 9+ years of experience in recruitment marketing, brand management or professional services marketing-ideally within a global B2B or legal/consulting environment.
  • Proven track record of managing multi-channel marketing campaigns with measurable business impact, including brand, digital, content, and recruitment marketing.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong understanding of integrated marketing, digital branding, and content strategy to drive brand impact.
  • Experience managing global brand initiatives and governance in a matrixed organization.
  • Experience working with creative agencies, designers, and marketing teams to execute high-quality brand assets and campaigns.
