Wieland is hiring a Learning Technology Specialist. The Learning Technology Specialist will be responsible for ensuring a seamless learning experience for employees by maintaining accurate data in the Learning Management System (LMS), providing first level technical troubleshooting for system end users, and identifying opportunities to optimize learning processes. This role reports to the Manager, Learning Technology, & Instructional Design. This position may be hired at the Learning Specialist I (entry-level) or Learning Specialist II (more experienced) level, depending on the candidate's experience, capabilities, and overall fit for the role. This role is based at Wieland's North American Headquarters in Louisville, KY; however, hybrid, onsite, or fully remote work arrangements may be considered based on the selected candidate's experience, role alignment, and business needs. Responsibilities Learning Technology Specialist Responsibilities: Maintain the Learning Management System (LMS) to efficiently manage and deliver learning and training content, track learner progress, and ensure regional compliance with training requirements.
Oversee day-to-day operations of the LMS and assist with configuration and maintenance tasks as directed.
Provide technical support for end users and Regional Local LMS Administrators across multiple functional areas, helping to ensure alignment with organizational learning strategies, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement in learning technologies and methodologies.
Maintain content in Learning Management System (LMS) and other relevant content authoring tools or key online resource hubs.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support the organization's objectives and the Learning and Development functional strategic initiatives. Learning Technology Specialist Qualifications:
