Evaluate and enhance the organization's compliance with financial regulations. Conduct complex audits, identify control weaknesses, and recommend improvements to ensure regulatory compliance. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform detailed compliance audits and assessments. Analyze financial data for compliance risks. Develop and maintain compliance documentation. Collaborate with departments to implement corrective actions. Assist in preparing reports for management and regulators. Mentor junior analysts and support training initiatives. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum education Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics or related discipline. Related experience may offset degree requirements and related education/degree may offset experience requirements. Minimum experience Three (3) years in financial compliance, auditing, or risk management. Knowledge, skills and abilities Strong knowledge of SOX, GAAP, and other financial regulations. Proficient in data analysis and audit software. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Proficient in audit tools and financial systems.
