Security Guard - Full Time Patrol

As a Security Guard - Full Time Patrol in Merry Hill, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol the premises of a food and beverage location, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. You will conduct routine patrols, assist visitors and staff, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter areas within the food and beverage location to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding incidents or concerns.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and adherence to site protocols as required by the location.
• Support emergency response efforts by following established procedures and collaborating with local authorities when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
