Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work on-site at our customer in Bethesda, MD. Interested?
Here's what you'd do:
  • Our IT Technician will perform a variety of duties in support of end users for IT hardware and/or software.
  • Support macOS devices and help set up Apple iPhones and iPads.
  • Provide frontline, customerfacing IT Deskside Support in a fastpaced setting.
  • Troubleshoot Windows11 operatingsystem issues and perform hardware repairs on HP laptops (harddrive, RAM, etc.).
  • Utilize ServiceCentral for ticket creation, tracking, and detailed resolution.
  • Manage loanerlaptop pool, ensuring timely returns and accurate inventory.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve issues quickly while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Comfortable working with both Windows and macOS platforms and mobile device provisioning.
Here's what you'll get:
Pay: $26/hr.
Hours: 4x10 schedule, Monday-Thursday
Length: Contract (12m+ with opportunity of extension.)

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience consisting of hardware repair
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience consisting of operation of systems such as Windows/ MAC, iPhone support.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience providing technical support in an in-person setting
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Experience maintaining accurate records in ServiceCentral
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve issues quickly while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Strong communication skills and able to collaborate effectively
  • Microsoft Office suite proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the necessary employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
  • Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD security clearance.
