In the role of Jr. Federal RFP/Pricing Administrator, we'll count on you to:
- Review client solicitations for FAR requirements and prepares required documentation
- Prepare Excel templates for building rate schedules and cost proposals in response to federal client requirements
- Review rate and cost information to ensure federally compliant rates and other data are current, accurate and complete
- Develop, maintain, and keep current all electronic contract documentation in a concise, organized manner
- Develop and maintain federal labor rate buildup templates and coordinate with our Compliance Department to annually update our DCAA provisional indirect rates
- Work with our Operations and Marketing teams to develop, administer, review/negotiate and execute Teaming Agreements/NDA Agreements
- Support our Federal Management Team in administering and submitting responses to our CPARS evaluations and supports pulling past performance information for proposal support
- Build strong relationships with the proposal team and within the supporting departments (operations, marketing, accounting, legal) and regularly communicates status of requirements and deadlines
- Support HDR Operations Management and act as point of contact with client Contracting Officers
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
- Position requires US-born citizenship
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is desired, but years of experience may substitute for degree
- A minimum of five (5) years of government contracts and/or proposal pricing experience
- Experience building federally compliant labor rates and understanding direct and indirect rates
- Experience with government contracting regulations, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and externally to maximize performance, creativity, and problem solving
- Have a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to plan and manage multiple tasks often within highly demanding timeframes
- Ability to build and understand pricing models
- Strong communication skills
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of contracts or related experience
- Working knowledge of contracting concepts and company and client requirements
- Professional, self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented with the flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, with minimal management oversight
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software, including complex Excel spreadsheets with formulas
- Excellent writing and people skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture
