As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, patrol designated areas, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing outstanding customer service while utilizing technology to support access procedures. What You'll Do:

• Perform access control duties by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and/or vehicles at the logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting employees, visitors, and/or vendors as they enter and exit the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site-specific policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and surrounding perimeter to observe and report security-related matters.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or unusual circumstances according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Assist in emergency response activities as directed, following site-specific procedures and instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
