Overview:

The Senior Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to support in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires proficiency in operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, upholding high-quality imaging standards, and maintaining accurate records and documentation of procedures and findings. Responsibilities for this role also include serving as a resource and acting as a lead while leadership is unavailable. Effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals is essential for providing optimal care

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.
  • Experience: One (1) year of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelors degree program
  • Certification/Registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists-Radiography (ARRT(R)); Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.

  • Capability to make informed decisions regarding imaging procedures, patient care, and team management.
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, such as performing imaging procedures while supervising staff.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team

  • Thorough understanding of protocols and ability to adjust as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Flexibility to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Pursue continued ongoing learning and professional development to stay current with advancements in radiologic technology.
