What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both business areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor for unusual activity or potential hazards in accordance with established protocols for chemical and petrochemical environments.
  • Document and report any incidents, observations, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
  • Support access control procedures by observing entry and exit points and verifying credentials as needed.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs and provide assistance as requested.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A TSA issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential TWIC is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A 40 caliber endorsement is required.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
