Security Officer - Full Time Midnights

As a Security Officer - Full Time Midnights in Wyandotte, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. This is a driving post. You will remain visible, interact with visitors and employees, and deliver outstanding customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the overall security-related operations at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and monitor for unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of personnel and visitors to help maintain site integrity in a chemical or petrochemical environment.
• Report security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities to the appropriate personnel and document findings according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site staff to support a secure environment tailored to the specific needs of a chemical or petrochemical location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
