If you enjoy trying new things, hands-on learning, and work-life balance, join the Dot Foods warehouse team. As a material handler, you'll use equipment to efficiently pick, load, and receive product for customer orders. We provide training to ensure your safety when operating equipment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO


  • Safely and efficiently utilize the forklift and other warehouse equipment for pallet separation, loading, and unloading of food product for customers.
  • Ability to stack stable, well-built pallets for shipment, stock, or in-house use.
  • Professional, courteous manner in working with internal customers and outside vendors.
  • Consistently meet established company production and quality level standards.
  • Consistently pick, load, receive, and replenish product to meet established company production and service levels
  • Utilize warehouse processes to minimize damage and meet food safety requirements.
  • Work to eliminate waste in all areas of the position

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to regularly and repeatedly lift product ranging from 35 -65 lbs daily
  • Ability to pass a standard physical abilities test to ensure you can meet the physical demands of the job
  • Sufficient vision and hearing necessary to operate powered equipment safely

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE


  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior warehouse experience
  • Successful work experience in an environment that promotes safety

ROLE SPECIFICS

  • Schedule: Full Time (36 hours)
  • Nights: 12-hour shifts (3x12), Thurs.-Sat. 6:00 pm- 6:30 am
  • Days: 12-hour shifts (3x12), Sat.-Mon. 7:00 am - 5:30 pm
  • Environment: Warehouse environment with temperature extremes ranging from -5 degrees in frozen to ambient temperatures in dry up to 80 degrees
  • Extensive standing and/or walking on concrete surfaces
