Armed Security Officer - Driving Patrol

As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol Driver in Manson, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Professional at this government location, you will conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues.
• Monitor and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns observed during patrols.
• Assist visitors, staff, and/or authorized personnel with inquiries and access within the location while maintaining a professional presence.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities as required.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and local authorities when necessary to address incidents.
• Adhere to all post orders and instructions specific to the armed patrol assignment at the government location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
