As a Security Officer - Factory Roving Patrol in Commerce, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and access control activity as needed. Why Join Us: What You'll Do: - Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, issuing temporary credentials as directed, logging visitors and/or vehicles, and directing individuals to the proper location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including production spaces, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activity.
- Monitor cameras, alarms, and other site systems as assigned; respond to alerts and report unusual conditions per post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; provide clear verbal direction and request assistance from leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
- Complete routine reports such as shift activity logs, patrol documentation, and incident reports with accurate details and timely communication to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
- Support vehicle and truck traffic flow at gates and dock areas by verifying deliveries and/or pickups against approved documentation and directing drivers to designated staging locations.
- Maintain a professional presence in assigned areas; provide directions, answer questions, and assist with de-escalation of conflicts when appropriate.
- Observe for policy violations and operational concerns, then notify appropriate site personnel and Allied Universal leadership according to escalation procedures.
- Participate in required briefings and training, follow post orders, and maintain readiness of assigned equipment such as radios, flashlights, and access control tools.
Minimum Requirements: - Have at least 6+ months of security-related experience.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
