Security Officer - Commercial Building Patrol

As a Security Officer - Office Tower Patrol in Chandler, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps reduce security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with strong customer service and clear communication. You will bring integrity to every interaction while working as part of an agile, reliable, innovative team that puts people first and delivers through teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including calls for service, alarms, and tenant concerns.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, loading dock areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter, as assigned.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing visitor and contractor activity and directing individuals according to site procedures.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance issues, and communicate findings to the appropriate contacts.
• Complete detailed shift reports and incident documentation per Allied Universal and site guidelines.
• Operate site communication equipment and any assigned monitoring systems, and notify appropriate personnel when conditions warrant.
• Provide assistance with tenant and visitor directions, after-hours access requests, and other customer service needs within assigned post guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• - Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• - Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• - Being able to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• - Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• - Customer service experience is preferred.
• - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• - A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
