As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol - Financial Site in Columbia, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Your role involves conducting routine patrols and providing outstanding customer service and communication to everyone onsite. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any irregularities, with working environments and conditions varying based on the location.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification, and maintaining visitor logs as required by site policies.
• Support the enforcement of site-specific policies and procedures to help to deter potential disruptions within the financial institution environment.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site contacts to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
