POSITION TITLE: Summer 2026 Intern - Change Management & Communications

LOCATION: Chicago

12-week Summer Internship, between May - September 2026

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
As part of the Global Business Growth & Automation (GBGA) team, we are at the forefront of innovation within Salesforce. We partner with our internal product, business technology, sales, and revenue teams to deliver cutting-edge tools and platforms for Salesforce employees. We are an agent-first organization, using our own technology to augment our workforce with autonomous agents. We work deeply within the Salesforce platform to ensure that we are Customer Zero, making the most of the Salesforce platform by rapidly launching new features to our employee base as they are released.

ROLE OVERVIEW:
Are you excited by how large, global companies communicate change at scale? As a Change Management Communications Intern, you will support internal communications and engagement efforts for Salesforce's global sales and revenue teams.

This internship offers hands-on experience at the intersection of communications, marketing, technology, and organizational change management. You will work closely with experienced communications, sales strategy, enablement, and product partners to help deliver clear, timely, and engaging messages that support sales transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a strong writer and collaborator who is eager to learn, curious about business operations, and excited to explore how tools like Slack, Marketing Cloud, and AI can improve how teams work and communicate.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Communications & Content Support

  • Assist in creating internal communications for Lead-to-Cash initiatives, including emails, newsletters, Slack posts, presentations, and enablement content.
  • Support messaging consistency by helping maintain content templates, messaging frameworks, and communication calendars.
  • Help draft and edit content that explains process, technology, or program changes in a clear and engaging way.
  • Contribute to executive and leadership presentation materials as needed.

Seller Experience & Engagement

  • Support communication campaigns designed to drive awareness and adoption of sales process and technology changes.
  • Assist with gathering and organizing seller and operator feedback (e.g., surveys, Slack input, feedback forums).
  • Help identify common questions or friction points and support the creation of FAQs or awareness content.
  • Contribute ideas to make communications more engaging, digestible, and user-friendly.

Tools, Analytics & Optimization

  • Learn and support the use of communication platforms such as Slack, Marketing Cloud, and enablement portals.
  • Assist with tracking engagement metrics (opens, clicks, views, feedback) to understand what content is working.
  • Help document learnings and insights to improve future communications.
  • Explore how automation and AI tools can enhance communication efficiency and personalization.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current Junior/Rising Senior pursuing a Bachelor's Degree, graduating Dec 2026, or Spring 2027, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Journalism, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong written communication skills with attention to clarity and detail.
  • Interest in marketing, internal communications, sales enablement, or change management.
  • Comfortable working with digital tools (Slack, Google Workspace, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a team-oriented setting.
  • Interest in technology, SaaS, or business operations is a plus.

NICE TO HAVE (NOT REQUIRED):

  • Familiarity with Salesforce products, marketing tools, or analytics platforms.
  • Experience creating visual or multimedia content (slides, videos, infographics, social posts).
