Role Summary

The Manager, Event Sales is responsible for driving non-matchday event revenue at Energizer Park through proactive sales efforts, relationship management, and strategic partnerships. This role serves as a key liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring a seamless sales-to-execution process while consistently exceeding revenue goals. This is a full time, salaried position with the potential to earn bonus/commission.
Job Responsibilities


  • Oversee inbound lead management, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional responses to all event inquiries.
  • Manage a pipeline of prospective business and actively strategize to generate new leads through cold calling, emailing and other marketing initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local and regional organizations by participating in networking or trade show events and engaging prospective clients through off-site meetings and hosted experiences to expand the event sales pipeline and secure new business.
  • Create, track, and deliver customized proposals for prospective clients in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Conduct regular virtual or in-person meetings and hospitality-focused stadium tours for clients.
  • Drive prospective clients to confirmed events by owning the contracting process, gathering client vision details, and aligning internal teams anevent partners.
  • Consistently exceed annual event sales revenue targets set by the Leadership Team and contribute to long-term growth of the stadium's private events business.
  • Uphold a high understanding of stadium procedures, features, and spaces to continuously share creative event ideas and information with clients.
  • Maintain relationships with regular vendors at the stadium including in-house caterers, decor companies, A/V providers, etc.
  • Create and manage stadium event marketing plans and track success of each initiative while working in tandem with internal teams to manage and update club-owned channels.
  • Support financial management of special events, including invoicing accuracy, billing timelines, and revenue tracking.
  • Assist with execution of campus events as needed, with an emphasis on client satisfaction and service from initial inquiry to event close-out.
  • Manage a limited number of events throughout the year, which may include weekend and weeknight events.
  • Other duties as assigned, including occasional matchday responsibilities


Skills & Qualifications

Interested candidates should possess the following:


  • 2+ years of event sales experience with demonstrated success managing revenue goals.
  • Previous sales experience in a venue or stadium preferred.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple events while managing time effectively.
  • Must be a self-starter and goal-driven with a passion for their work.
  • Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.
  • Exceptional customer relationship development and management skills.
  • Ability to work calmly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Significant experience with creative thinking and a solutions-oriented attitude.
  • Strong professional communications and interpersonal skills when working with clients and internal groups to achieve organizational goals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and event management software (Tripleseat, Social Tables) preferred.
  • Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to travel between office and stadium locations within the St. Louis metro area.
