Job Description

ROLE OVERVIEW
This position is responsible for handling day-to-day mechanical and electrical issues within the production environment. This position must act with safety and food safety guidelines in mind at all times and maintain the highest level of compliance with each.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

  • Acts as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities.
  • Responsible for assisting in maintaining spare parts inventory by cooperating with the Parts Manager.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues on all machines.
  • Work to complete Work Orders in line with established timelines.
  • Contribute to teams that may work toward mechanical downtime reduction.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

WHAT WE VALUE

  • Familiar with preventative (PM) maintenance technologies.

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU

  • 2+ years in manufacturing maintenance related to mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting is required
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts and/or flexible hours to accommodate production demand

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires employees to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, and even sit for extended periods of time. Frequent exposure to a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels. Potential contact with chemicals and cleaning supplies, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds is a requirement. Some parts of this position would require the employee to work at heights as part of some tasks.
