• 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday | 3:15 PM - 1:45 AM
• Weekend Day Shift: Friday-Sunday | 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM

This Role Is For Experienced CNC Machinists

We're hiring skilled CNC Machinists to support the machining of tight-tolerance locomotive and mining components in a production manufacturing environment. This role requires hands-on CNC setup, operation, and inspection - not entry-level machine tending.

If you enjoy working with precision parts, blueprints, and G-code and want stable hours with strong pay, this is the role for you.

What You'll Be Doing

• Set up and operate CNC machines to machine precision components
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints, work instructions, and tolerances
• Make tool offsets and adjustments to ensure part quality
• Inspect in-process and finished parts using standard measuring tools
• Perform minor troubleshooting and work with team leads on continuous improvement
• Maintain machines, tooling, and a clean, organized work area
• Follow all safety and quality standards, including PPE requirements

Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)

• 1+ year of hands-on CNC machining experience (production or precision machining)
• Ability to read blueprints and understand machining tolerances
• Experience operating CNC equipment independently
• Basic computer skills for machine interfaces and documentation
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Strongly Preferred (Helps You Stand Out)

• CNC setup experience
• Working knowledge of G & M codes
• Experience machining metal components (steel, castings, or heavy parts)
• Familiarity with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
