A respected manufacturer in the fitness and equipment industry is seeking a skilled Upholsterer to support the repair and rebuilding of high-quality upholstered pads used in performance-driven products. This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced sewing or upholstery professional who takes pride in craftsmanship, precision, and consistency while working in a production-focused environment.

Hours & Pay

• Shift: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 6:00 am-2:30 pm
• Pay: $19.00 per hour and up, based on experience
• Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
• Work Style: Ability to sit regularly during the shift

What You'll Do

• Sew upholstery covers and webbing for pull straps using a single-needle sewing machine
• Stretch and staple covers to molded pads to complete finished upholstered products
• Apply spray adhesive in a controlled glue booth environment
• Perform upholstery repairs and rebuild pads to meet production specifications
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality, consistency, and workmanship standards
• Use power tools such as band saws, sanders, foam cutters, and upholstery knives
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
• Follow all safety procedures and quality guidelines throughout the shift
• Maintain an efficient, steady work pace while meeting production expectations

What You Bring

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience using a sewing machine in upholstery or industrial sewing
• Apprenticeship completion or formal upholstery training preferred
• High school diploma preferred
• Strong hand and finger dexterity with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Self-motivated, dependable, punctual, and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Ability to perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
• Ability to distinguish colors accurately
• Willingness to work mandatory overtime when required
• Basic computer skills
• English proficiency for reading, writing, and communication
