The Value Stream Leader position will be responsible for wing-to-wing management of special new equipment from order entry to remittance for project management, engineering, supply chain management, manufacturing operations and people aspects of their Becker and Mooney Brand.

This position is responsible for providing organizational leadership, business development and client relationship management (Customer, Channel Partner, and Assoco). Major focus and interaction with customers and managing all activites and operations aspect of the value stream.

As a Value Stream Leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing all aspects of the business through strategic leadership and effective tactical management.

  • Collaborating with Sales and Channel Partners to align manufacturing capacity with strategic revenue growth.

  • Coaching, engaging, and directing staff to deliver operational results that are meeting and exceeding organizational expectations for the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including safety, quality, cost, delivery, training, compliance, on-time delivery, overdue backlog, NPS, communications, inventory, and cash.

  • Owning plant Value Stream P&L, budgets, forecasts, and developing and implementing strategy.

  • Reviewing monthly and annual financial statements for budgetary comparisons, assessing performance levels using gap analysis, and identifying action-oriented, corrective responses as necessary.

  • Collaborating with functional leaders (Quality, Human Resources, EHS, Materials, Sourcing, Engineering, etc.) for effective deployment of functional strategies, initiatives, and programs that are affecting the location, and ensuring all teams are strategically aligned with the regions and Company's goals.

  • Leading operations with a view to improving manufacturing processes through improved asset utilization and strategic capital investment.

  • Creating and managing capital budgets, long-range site and facility master plans in order to meet growth objectives of your product line.

  • Supporting product launch and NPI in accordance with the organization's launch initiatives.

  • Championing learning and implementation of Lean in your Value Stream.

  • Driving the identification, selection, and prioritization of projects and maintaining a productivity (lean) project pipeline on an ongoing basis.

  • Ensuring compliance with all required OSHA, ISO, and other required certification standards.

  • Making sure best practices are at the forefront of all projects such as equipment installation, safety, 5S, quality, lean, preventative maintenance, etc.

  • Establishing managerial leadership, credibility, and trust through clear communication and actions with all levels of the organization (Positive Employee Relations).

  • Enforcing ethical business practices and being a model for the Core Values of the Company.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.

  • Have 5+ years of commercial customer-facing experience.

  • Have 5+ years of experience in leadership.

  • Have strong communication skills to interact with employees at all levels.

  • Have the ability to lead and motivate a team.

  • Have the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of lean principles and processes.

  • Have the ability to read and understand common financial reports.

  • Have proficiency in MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Have a self-starter mindset with strong financial and analytical skills.

  • Have manufacturing experience.

  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Have the ability to translate ideas into clear, high-impact communications (e.g., emails, PowerPoint, papers).

  • Have excellent problem structuring, identification, and resolution skills.

  • Have strong attention to detail, passion for strategic thinking and problem solving, and ability to deliver rich business insights to drive decisions.

  • Have proven cross-functional project management and leadership skills, leading to positive organizational change.

  • Have superior program management, leadership, and influence skills with the ability to plan, track, and report progress.

  • Have the ability to work in a productive, collaborative, and cooperative way with a variety of people.

  • Have the ability to influence across functional teams (e.g., engineering, operations, sales, channel partners) and at senior leadership/executive levels, and maintain good judgment in fast-paced, high-stress environments.

  • Have a mechanical background and/or technical aptitude to work in a highly engineered production environment.
