We're seeking to fill this role in Dallas/Fort Worth, San Antonio or Houston

General Purpose

To support and drive execution of The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC), Arca Continental/Coca-Southwest Beverages Safety programs at the regional level by supporting 7 Manufacturing facilities. Execute the Corporate Internal Audit program at the regional level to identify gaps in adherence to TCCC, Arca Continental/Coca-Southwest Beverages policies, Federal, State and Local regulations. Leverage the Integrated Management System (SMS) to execute partnership with 7 Manufacturing facilities to identify actions needed to remediate issues to ensure compliance with CCSWB Policies, Federal, State and Local regulations, related to Safety. Drive consistent safety message at all levels of the organization through interaction with hourly employees through Supply Chain Leadership. Identify and surface potential hazards that may need further review, and possible company program development. Interact with governmental agencies, including but not limited to OSHA, on an as needed basis. Work with Risk Management, Claims Department, TPA, Outside Adjustors, Outside Counsel, etc. to provide support on an as needed basis.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serve as a resource to Arca Continental Coca-Southwest Beverages organization regarding KORE Safety Policies, Federal, State and Local regulations, related to Safety standards and procedures to achieve a zero-incident workplace.
  • CCSWB Sustainability Supply Chain Reporting - Provide supply chain support in confirming / validating facilities EOSH, TCCC KOSMOS EOSH & Life Saving Rules data & metrics.
  • Responsible for executing and sustaining Arca Continental Coca-Southwest Beverages Safety Plan.
  • Support and serve as an enabler for the Supply Chain safety strategic and tactical teams.
  • Perform Safety Audits within all Manufacturing locations and report results to leadership team.
  • Partner with local management to identify and implement corrective actions during safety audits, self-inspections, investigations, hazard assessments, etc.
  • Serve as a Regional resource to support local investigations and see that incident investigations are conducted in a timely manner which would include but not be limited to the following: required incident investigation documentation, determining accident classification, corrective action needed and/ or to provide support to the Claims Department.
  • Serve as a Regional resource, attend and/or support Safety Committees within each Manufacturing location.
  • Be available to help with emergencies and special projects on nights and weekends.
  • Serve as a Regional resource to support Manufacturing locations with day-to-daypersonnel health and safety concerns.
  • Serve as a Regional resource to support Manufacturing locations with their Safety programs, up to and including the governance, execution and sustainability of the programs at each facility.
  • Update health and safety communications to reinforce safe work practices for Supply Chain/Manufacturing.
  • Develop and facilitate Safety Training and Safety Toolbox Topics as needed.
  • Assist Safety Manager with various projects up to and including other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required. Combination of minimum and preferred experience with some education will be considered.
  • 3-5 years Safety Experience or related discipline required.
  • Prior Manufacturing, bottling and multi-unit experience preferred.
  • Previous consumer products industry preferred.
  • Prior work within manufacturing/distribution organization a plus.
  • Strong PC skills including a high level of proficiency in Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of OSHA, and Hazardous Material management concepts and techniques
  • Knowledge of Kore requirements, concepts and techniques
  • Ability to train and educate employees on safety, OSHA, and management concepts
  • Highly organized with the ability to handle confidential information in a discreet manner.
  • Ability to function independently and take the initiative until activities are complete.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to organize and lead large company sponsored events.
  • Ability to function under pressure while handling multiple assignments with various deadlines.
  • Ability to Bend/stoop, sit, lift, squat, walk, crouch, reach, and operate keyboard/calculator are required.
  • Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicles Records check.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Significant Travel: Travel will be required to 7 Manufacturing facilities to support the business needs
