Job Summary

The Manufacturing Software Developer (Siemens MES /.NET) Developer I will serve as a member of a team that is responsible for the maintenance and development of several .NET based applications. This team is responsible for all aspects of the applications they support and develop including backend, database, UI, and middle tier development. As an organization that must meet FDA regulations and manufacturers Medical Devices, most projects undergo a change control process that adheres to GxP standards. To ensure these standards are met, Documentation is paramount. Projects are executed only once the Requirements are gathered and fully understood. The SDLC is followed as part of our change management processes, and we utilize a Git based software/ content management system (CMS). The day to day work will fluctuate between documentation and maintenance to new developments and projects.

Essential Functions

  • (20%) Create and Maintain Software Documentation (Technical and Functional)

  • (20%) Maintain and Support Existing applications and codebase (C#, MSSQL, .NET (FW and Core))

  • (15%) Create and maintain integrations and customizations to Siemens MFG / MES Software (OpCenter/Camstar)

  • (15%) Write SQL queries and reports to extract and manipulate data from multiple relational databases.

  • (10%) Develop and test new applications (C#, .NET, Blazor, Razor, Desktop Apps)

  • (10%) Daily Support and Ticket resolution

  • (5%) Cross functional Meetings and Required Training

  • (5%) Process Mapping and Maintaning Process Maps

  • The items above are not necessarily all inclusive and may change as requirements change

Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Science, or equivalent required required

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in .NET application development required required

  • Minimum of 2 years experience working with Microsoft SQL required required

  • Strong preference for experience with Manufacturing and MES preferred

  • Experience with Siemens OpCenter software a huge plus preferred

  • Experience with a Hybrid (On Premises and Cloud) environment preferred

  • Familiar with Manufacturing processes and procedures preferred

  • Med Device and/or Regulated environment experience a plus preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Thorough knowledge of development best practices (SOLID, DRY, SDLC, KISS, etc.)

  • Demonstration of excellent code quality and efficiency

  • Working in a team environment

  • Great written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to adjust to changing demands and timelines

  • Meet deadlines for individual and team projects.

  • Ability to shift workloads as demands change

  • Able to create, maintain, and adhere to Code Standards

  • Read and Create Process Maps and Block Diagrams

The annual salary for this position is:

$101,000.00 to $110,000.00
