Responsibilities We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced, Board Certified Neonatologist to join our unit at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina The hospital has about 3400-3900 deliveries, 370-400 NICU admissions annually and runs a daily census of 25-29 babies In this position, you will have the opportunity to oversee a 35-bed, Level-III NICU, offering comprehensive neonatal care including high-frequency ventilation and hypothermia therapy. Well baby rounding 2 weeks out of 4 weeks – with Family Medicine Residency program Shifts are 24 hours rounding plus call NNP night coverage – 12 hour pm shifts Subspecialty support – Cardiology, Surgery and Ophthalmology and work with a 3 member MFM group Spartanburg is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, between Atlanta, Georgia and Charlotte, North Carolina. The area also offers an aesthetic Southern charm perfect for outdoor activities. With beautiful parks, trails, and rivers, Spartanburg is an excellent location for bicyclists, golfers, and joggers.
