As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Horicon, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location as an unarmed Patrol Officer on a driving post. You will conduct routine patrols across the property, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, control access points, and provide responsive customer service and clear communication to staff and visitors. Why Join Us: What You'll Do: - Provide customer service to individuals at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or Allied Universal management per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas and the exterior perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
- Control access at vehicle and pedestrian entry points by checking identification, verifying authorization and directing visitors and contractors according to site procedures.
- Monitor and document truck and trailer activity, including arrivals, departures, dock assignments and restricted area access, in accordance with site guidelines.
- Perform routine interior and exterior inspections for unusual conditions such as open doors, damaged gates, unsecured equipment and/or unauthorized individuals, and report findings per site policy.
- Operate security-related systems such as radios, phones, access control systems and CCTV when assigned, and report observed issues to the appropriate contact.
- Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs and patrol documentation, and communicate key updates during shift change.
- Provide direction during alarms, evacuations and/or other facility disruptions, coordinating with site personnel and public responders as directed by post orders.
- Support a professional, customer-focused presence by answering questions, providing directions and assisting with site-specific requests within post assignment scope.
Minimum Requirements: - A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
- Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
- Lift Up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
