As a Security Officer - Auto Auction in Mount Morris, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a fast-paced tech and telecom location, where you will make rounds across buildings and parking areas, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related concerns, and support access points as needed. You will document observations, communicate clearly with teams, and represent Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach. A valid driver's license is required.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following established security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech, media, and/or telecom location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts and requesting assistance when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access control issues.
• Monitor access points and visitor traffic, assisting with check-in and/or badge verification as directed by site policy.
• Observe for unusual activity, unauthorized persons, and/or policy violations, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Complete routine reports, including shift activity logs, incident documentation, and patrol documentation, using handwritten forms and/or electronic systems.
• Support alarm response and basic access control activities, including responding to door alarms and/or assisting with controlled entry procedures per site guidelines.
• Provide directions and general assistance to employees, vendors, and visitors, and escalate concerns to the appropriate parties as needed.
• Maintain a professional presence, follow post orders, and coordinate with Allied Universal supervision and site contacts to support daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
