WHAT YOU'LL DO:

The Key Account Manger's primary responsibility is to sell, grow, implement, & sustain Diversey's key Senior Living, Food Service, & Hospitality business by utilizing customer value propositions to realize significant profitable value for the company while ensuring strong customer value and partnership. This individual will be responsible for managing key account relationships within the US. The Key Account Manager must comfortably interface with key decision makers within the customer accounts as well as customer operational management and enjoy building new customer relationships.

HOW YOU'LL ADD VALUE:

Rollout Implementation

  • Present and review implementation strategy for new customer wins with key account stakeholders
  • Serve as liaison between project management team, operations team, and end-user
  • Work in collaboration with distribution team and distributor partners to forecast upcoming volumes

Account Management

  • Provide management of current accounts, daily activities, and priorities & manage KPIs to meet the needs of customer expectations regarding service and sales support.
  • Provide needed customer training and support as needed.
  • Contribute to and actively manage Sales funnel -reporting of activity, with sales budgeting, forecasting, and expenses.

New Business Development

  • Presents appropriate Diversey Value Propositions to key national prospects to secure new, profitable business.
  • Will work through selling cycles and negotiations.

Preserve & Grow Existing Business

  • Collaborate with Hospitality & Food Service Leaders and Diversey support functions to ensure profit & Value Propositions.
  • Must drive engagement with customers at all levels to ensure all new & existing needs are understood and all key stakeholders recognize the value delivered.

Collaborate with Global and Regional Sector colleagues

  • Collaborate with Diversey Sector leadership and sales personnel globally to ensure effective & consistent delivery of Value Propositions to key customers - including value-added services such as training, service, support, and supply delivery.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of sales experience minimum in a B2B Business Development role
  • Valid US driver's license
  • Proven Business Development experience acquiring & complex customers & delivering results
  • Strategic thinking and ability to translate plans into actions
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate at the national level of organizations, along with the ability to sell at the operational level.
  • Experience with business planning
  • Demonstrated ability to work with teammates, both direct & indirect teams
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Industry and sector knowledge
  • Financial acumen
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong analytical background
  • Ability to travel

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of sales experience minimum in a B2B business development role in the Hospitality, Retail, Food Service, or Facility Management market
  • Chemical sales experience preferred

    The expected compensation range for this position is between $83,500.00 and $139,100.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
