POSITION: Commercial Intern

Position Summary:

Cambridge Savings Bank's Summer 2026 Internship Program is a talent pipeline program designed to provide college students with the foundation needed for a career in the banking industry and a thorough understanding of the everyday functions of a community bank. As a Commercial Lending Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the Commercial Lending process (specific areas, Commercial Real Estate, Corporate Lending, Asset-Based Lending and Commercial Credit). This includes origination, processing, underwriting, servicing procedures and portfolio management. You will develop financial analysis & data skills to support the strategic plan and contribute to improving end-to-end customer experience. In addition, you will perform analysis of financial statements, risks/mitigants, management, collateral, and guarantors (among other credit considerations) to determine viability of loan requests and as part of the completion of the Annual Reviews.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Currently enrolled in a full-time, undergraduate degree program.
  • Consistently demonstrates teamwork, strong written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work assignments and projects.
  • Demonstrates academic aptitude, a strong work ethic, and involvement in college and/or community programs.
  • Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Location: Hybrid/Waltham, MA Salary Range: $17.00 - $19.00/hourly

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Cambridge Savings Bank ranges from $17.00 - $19.00/hourly. Cambridge Saving Bank will determine actual compensation for the role based on factors including, but not limited to, the successful candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
