About the Role

The Senior Account Director plays a critical role in driving client satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth. You'll serve as a strategic partner to some of the world's most recognized brands, guiding them through the full value of Rio SEO's software and services-while leading internal teams to ensure flawless delivery.

We're looking for a consultative, analytical, relationshipdriven leader who thrives in a fastpaced digital marketing environment and enjoys helping enterprise clients win.

What You'll Do
  • Lead strategic client partnerships-deliver thought leadership, performance insights, and ongoing recommendations aligned to client marketing and business goals.
  • Own client satisfaction & retention through consistent communication, collaborative planning, inperson meetings, and highimpact performance presentations.
  • Drive account expansion by identifying upsell and crosssell opportunities across your portfolio and building deeper, wider relationships within enterprise brands.
  • Guide digital strategy leveraging expertise in SEO, paid search, local search, and performance marketing to maximize client results.
  • Analyze data & performance trends using search engines, analytics tools, and Rio SEO's platform to craft compelling and actionable insights.
  • Monitor KPIs & optimize programs to exceed client objectives with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends including local search updates, competitive shifts, and emerging best practices-and clearly communicate POVs to clients.
What You Bring
  • 6+ years of Account Management or Client Success experience (enterprise preferred).
  • Proven success managing and growing Fortune 500 client relationships.
  • Strong digital marketing knowledge-SEO, SEM, local search, and performance marketing required.
  • Experience analyzing large datasets and turning data into clientready insights.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word; familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce a plus).
  • Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills-written and verbal.
  • Confident, selfdirected, collaborative, and highly detailoriented.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Expertise in Local Search and Google Business Profile.
  • Deep SEO background plus complementary experience in SEM, PPC, display, social, email, and analytics.
  • SaaS industry experience with a focus on client delivery or account growth.
  • Working knowledge of analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
Work Environment

This role is generally remote. For team members near our Chicago, South Bend, or Boston hubs, we operate on a hybrid schedule-meeting in the office Tuesday through Thursday to collaborate and work #bettertogether.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 - $107,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus or commission tied to achieved results.
