Medical Receptionist -Insurance Verification Representative Suffolk, VA Pay from $18 an hour MUST: The Insurance Verification, Medical Biller or Medical Receptionist candidate MUST have experience: Experience verifying insurance coverage Reviewing insurance coverage with patients 3 years of experience in a physician office environment Experience working in a doctor's office setting Strong experience verifying insurance and pre-authorizing procedures Cost estimation experience Pre-authorizing surgeries DUTIES: Verify insurance coverage Pre-authorize procedures Familiar with a variety of insurance plans Formulating patient responsibility estimates for medical services for patients and non-patients wanting to know their out-of-pocket costs prior to receiving care Obtaining insurance eligibility and benefits information and review insurance eligibility responses to obtain correct coverage information Communicating with the patients and non-patients seeking cost estimate information and answer questions related to payment and/or financial assistance information *Quadrant, Inc. is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
