SUMMARY:
This position requires you to work with drivers, production and customers on a day-to-day basis to coordinate the movement of corrugated orders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintaining daily deliveries (including offsite warehouse transfers), coordinate the plan with the material pickers, and direct dispatching personnel to ensure timely and accurate deliver of customer shipments. Incorporate the use of trailers from Agrand St. and outside carriers, as required.
Develops design and implementation of work methods and operational procedures for activities, such as verification of incoming and outgoing customer orders with Customer Service and Production.
Attend production meetings and drive the corresponding activity throughout the shipping organization.
Reviews work processes, recommends measures to improve shipping methods, equipment performance, and quality of product or service, suggests changes in working conditions to increase efficiency.
Keeps accurate records (Logbooks for all truck drivers to ensure DOT compliance), and prepares and submits required paperwork.
Special projects and assignments as business dictate
Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPPA.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
College Degree in Business or Logistics preferred
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Proficiency with computers and technology
Highly motivated with the ability to work independently or as a team member
High degree of attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Must be organized and have demonstrated the ability to multi-task Ability and willingness to learn and grow
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends

Regularly required to stands and walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, varying temperatures.
- The noise level is such that hearing protection is required in the production area but not in the office area.
