As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor screening. You will respond to calls for service, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams and Allied Universal leadership. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and/or petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the appropriate chain of command.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, tank farms, warehouses, laydown yards, parking areas, and the perimeter, as required by post orders and location conditions.
• Control access at gates and/or entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing sign-in and sign-out processes, and directing authorized traffic to designated areas.
• Monitor alarms and/or radio communications, observe for unusual activity, and report hazards, suspicious behavior, and policy violations to site leadership and/or emergency contacts.
• Perform screening and/or package inspections when required by site procedures, maintaining a professional demeanor and following applicable policies.
• Complete routine inspections of doors, gates, fencing, and lighting, noting issues that may help to deter unauthorized access and/or damage.
• Provide traffic control and/or pedestrian control during shift changes, deliveries, and special operations to support orderly movement throughout the location.
• Document patrol activity, incident details, and daily operations in written reports and logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
• Assist with evacuations, shelter-in-place actions, and accountability procedures as directed by site plans and post orders.
• Support fire watch and/or hot work monitoring when assigned, maintaining required watch logs and promptly reporting abnormal conditions.
• Operate security-related equipment such as access control systems, cameras, and two-way radios, and report equipment issues for follow-up.
• Coordinate with onsite operations personnel and/or third-party responders during incidents, providing timely information and support as directed.
• Maintain a professional appearance and customer-focused communication while enforcing site rules and maintaining a consistent presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
