Production Integration Engineer

SelectTech Services Corporation
$115,000 - $130,000
United States, Colorado, Parker
Jan 24, 2026
The Production Integration Engineer will play a critical hands-on role in building out and scaling SelectTech's Colorado production facility. This individual will be deeply involved in early-stage production activities, gaining a comprehensive understanding of ATGL unit design, production nuances, and end-to-end workflow. In addition to performing maintenance, fabrication, and integration work on ATGL units, this role is intentionally positioned as a foundational contributor with strong potential for future growth into a leadership or team-development role as ATGL ramps to full-rate production.

This role directly supports SelectTech's core values by enabling teams to Deploy Faster through efficient, repeatable production processes, Operate with Confidence by ensuring high-quality, reliable builds, and Design with Purpose by providing hands-on feedback that improves manufacturability, integration, and long-term system performance.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, build-as-you-go environment, enjoys problem-solving on the production floor, and is motivated by the opportunity to help shape processes, standards, and eventually a growing production and integration team.

What You'll Do

  • Support the build-out and operational readiness of the Colorado production facility, including layout planning, tooling setup, and workflow optimization.
  • Partner with engineering, operations, and leadership to translate designs into repeatable production processes.
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to production flow, tooling, and workspace organization.
  • Perform hands-on assembly, integration, and testing of ATGL units in accordance with drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Conduct fabrication, modification, and rework of components and subassemblies as needed.
  • Install, integrate, and verify mechanical, electrical, and system-level components.
  • Ensure units meet quality, safety, and performance standards prior to release.
  • Perform routine and corrective maintenance on ATGL units, production equipment, and tooling.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and integration issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Document issues, resolutions, and lessons learned to support continuous improvement.
  • Assist in developing, refining, and documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and build documentation.
  • Provide feedback to engineering on design-for-manufacturability and design-for-integration opportunities.
  • Support the establishment of quality checks, inspection criteria, and acceptance processes.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 5-10 years of hands-on experience in production, integration, manufacturing, or field service environments.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in assembly, fabrication, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Experience working with tools, equipment, and test devices in a production or integration setting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working in an evolving, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work on-site and support physical, hands-on production work.
  • Experience with complex electromechanical systems or integrated hardware platforms.
  • Familiarity with early-stage production ramp or prototype-to-production transitions.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and controls.
  • Experience supporting facility build-outs or production line setup.
  • Interest in mentoring, training, or taking on informal leadership responsibilities over time.
  • Exposure to CAD, PLM systems, or other engineering design tools.
  • Knowledge of Mil-Spec components preferred, but not required
  • Will be required to qualify and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
