Architecture Change Control Board (CCB) Coordinator
This role supports architecture teams by managing the end-to-end change control process for vehicle and system architecture updates. The focus is on tracking change requests, driving approvals to closure, and reducing administrative burden on architects to enable efficient and timely decision-making.
Scope:
* Support architects with end-to-end program management of architecture change requests.
* Maintain accurate, up-to-date tracking of all open change requests and ensure transparency to stakeholders.
* Monitor approval progress and proactively follow up with required reviewers to prevent stalled decisions.
* Identify and implement improvements to tracking and follow-up mechanisms to increase change closure velocity.
* Facilitate Architecture CCB meetings, including agenda preparation, note-taking, and action item tracking.
* Offload administrative and tracking responsibilities from architects, allowing them to focus on technical decision-making and variant management.
Required:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or similar), or equivalent practical experience in engineering program management.
* Experience using project management and tracking tools such as Jira, spreadsheets, or bug tracking systems to manage complex workflows.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to track multiple open items, follow up on pending feedback, and drive tasks to closure.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with architects and cross-functional teams to obtain timely feedback.
Pluses:
* Experience with Change Control Board (CCB) processes or engineering change management in a hardware or automotive environment.
* Familiarity with automotive architecture or complex system variant management.
* Experience identifying process bottlenecks and implementing improvements to increase closure velocity.
